opening to love

You are opening your heart once again, and yet somehow for the first time.

This is new. 

This time you are opening to love with the support and strength of Spirit, unflinchingly in the bright and exposing light of truth. You are no longer denying, justifying or blaming for the deep pain you’ve experienced in the past after having offered your heart to another in love. You are allowing yourself to feel and heal from that past pain now; to see it all without turning away and to allow others to see it without covering it up. 

This time you understand the truth behind the illusion of the past loves who hurt you: That although the hurt and pain flowed through them to you, they were conduits for it, not the source of it. You now see the ways that the parts of you that had been kept in the shadows served as silent accomplice to those who hurt you. You have exposed this betrayer within, and you now understand that they will be with you always, requiring conscious vigilance, full self love, confident soul empowerment and surrender to Spirit to keep them in check. 

It is this understanding of all the parts of you, rather than any defense or guardedness against others, that will keep you safe now. 

You now know the nature and history of the wounds within you — that the tapestry of you in this lifetime was woven from threads handed lovingly down through generations of beautiful and uniquely exquisite heartbreak. Those threads have now all been used; their ends divinely cut and tied now so that you may regard the one-of-a-kind masterpiece that is you. 

You understand now that this one and only you has had and will continue to move through soul lessons, challenges and achievements unlike anyone else’s on each precious step of your own Spirit-prepared path, and you honor and feel gratitude for these. 

You see now that love, light, joy, darkness and pain all come from the same Source, which is all that is. And that your purpose on earth is to learn, align with and embody whichever of the energies you choose for yourself — an unprecedented privilege and gift you have been selected to enjoy during this time in human existence, helped and strengthened by Spirit. 

As you embrace this gift and this profound power, those who have chosen to embody the same energies you have chosen will be drawn quickly into your physical reality. You will find them miraculously appearing all around you, in the places your mind would least expect. Ask your higher self and guides daily to make these alignments. 

And open fully to love like you’ve never felt before.
