How to create a special space to support your inner work at home

You’ll want to have access to nature in any way possible, so make sure you are near a window so plenty of sunlight and fresh air can stream in, you can gaze at the clouds as they float by, and contemplate and ground while connecting with the trees and wildlife outside.

Next, surround yourself with high-vibration energy support.

You will need to cleanse your space and create a harmonious energetic environment for your at-home retreat. You can burn incense, sage, or palo santo wood, or if you prefer you can use a diffuser with a cleansing essential oil such as eucalyptus, tea tree, frankincense, or any oil you find soothing. Place energy-cleansing and supporting stones around your space, such as tourmaline to absorb negative energy, rose quartz to bring in self-compassion and nurturing vibes, and clear quartz to be a conduit for intuitive breakthroughs.

You may want to have an oracle card deck on hand to pull messages of inspiration, contemplation, and guidance, as well as a journal to write down what comes through for you. The most important thing you can do is prioritize your inner connection time and resist the urge to slide into the routine activities of your day at home. Decide ahead of time how much time you intend to dedicate to your practice, ask for the support of those around you, and make the commitment to yourself to give you the loving gift of the time and energetic space you need to cleanse, receive, and renew.
